| Graduate Development Programme – The focus is on you! In 2007, Tipp Focus implemented the very first annual graduate training programme that would see the establishment of young graduates into the corporate world of Management Consultancy. This initiative provided an opportunity for young graduates, who had recently graduated from various Tertiary institutions, with majors in subjects such as Process Engineering, Information/Computer Science, Management Degrees, or equivalent, to equip themselves with critical skills in the world of business, which would be provided and developed by the organization – Tipp Focus Consulting. The programme runs on an annual basis. Each year, we select grad-uates who qualify in terms of skills and drive. The selection process is an intense one, due to the high level of resources we wish to attract. | |
| Once the graduates have been selected, each one in then trained and developed into the company culture, guided on the process of transferring their current theoretical skills into more practical skills, and then mentored into different projects once we have established their capabilities and abilities. The success rate of this programme when it was first implemented was at 75%. And we have established it so well, that those very same graduates who first joined this programme, are now well established Consultants within the organization. | ![]() |
| We continue to excel in the implementation of this initiative. In 2009, again, we recruited another three graduates who have formed part of the Annual Graduate Programme. These graduates are being mentored and coached on all Management Consulting practices within the sectors of Project Management, Process Management, ICT and Strategic Management. Their year long training programme will ensure that they become the best in their sphere of contact, as we at TIPP believe that in order to be the best, you work with the best, which is what we excel in. The development of the youth sector in the country is most likely to be one of the key driving factors to the economical, sociological, and technological developments and establishments of our country. We at Tipp Focus want to be at the top of this process, and ensure that we do what it takes, to drive South Africa to the height of its true potential. The best way to do this is by investing in our young people, in not only giving them the opportunity to excel, but to thoroughly coach and mentor them through this programme. | FEEDBACK FROM ONE OF OUR GRADUATES Ever since 2007 I never had an opportunity to thank you for the time you gave me at your company. When I left, I thought I did not gain much, but now I see how functional the time I had there has actual enhance my knowledge. If it was not of TIPP, I don’t think I would’ve seen what’s actually happening in the industry today, it’s very essential for me to thank you and wish that your project can continue to grow exponentially. I took the advices you gave me positively when I left Tipp, and have since augmented my knowledge to such an extent that I now work for Siemens as a Project Manager, something which started at Tipp as a Management Consultant. Palpably, then it was always going to be difficult to notice the experience I gained there, but now I’m the only one here who knows ARIS, and I train the other pals. Mr. Siala, only a fool will not see how well and good your organisation is being managed or run. As a young PM and still growing in this business, I look up to people like you and also plan to embark on something that many will be proud of.
