| With the challenges faced by the CHBH in terms of shortages of public funds to maintain development and sustain physical infrastructure, TIPP Focus saw this as an opportunity to give back to those healthcare workers and their facility, by being actively involved in doing more. In 2008, TIPP decided to dedicate some of its time and resources to the development of the CHBH Gynecology ward, and the external infrastructure, by cleaning, painting and planting trees. This small but effective initiative, brought a great deal of appreciation from all those who are employed by CHBH, as this seen as a token of appreciation for their hard labour, it indeed was. And the whole TIPP team was proud to have been the pioneers of this initiative, which would bring about the annual progression of events such as this. |
