In the past year, we have assisted in the Facilitation of various strategic sessions, namely: The Tsietsi Mashinini High School, which is a Secondary School based in Soweto. We formulated the institutions organizational values, mission and vision. But, the core principle in assisting the school was not with the excellent strategic plan we had all formulated, but, it is assisting with the very basic values of why they are where they are today. The basis of their concerns and frustrations, and then, the building up of their values from that point on.
The Tipp Focus Group is driven by these principles. Our aim is to drive change, to make an impact, so that the results are evident. We operate on the highest quality of deliverables, and we are consistent with the application thereof in any venture we partake in.
Strategic Development Initiatives (continued)

The Chris Hani Baragwath Hospital (CHBH) is the largest Hospital in the Southern Hemisphere, with a total of 2 888 approved beds and 4 700 employees delivering healthcare to over a million patients each year. Over 24 000 babies are delivered annually, and approximately 4 000 patients are presently receiving anti-retroviral therapy. This hospital delivers healthcare not only to the population of Soweto, but also to Gauteng at

large, to other provinces and to the neighboring SADAC countries. However, their resources remain thinly stretched as they Endeavour to fulfill their mandate of “CARING HEARTS BRINGING HOPE”.
With the challenges faced by the CHBH in terms of shortages of public funds to maintain development and sustain physical infrastructure, TIPP Focus saw this as an opportunity to give back to those healthcare workers and their facility, by being actively involved in doing more. In 2008, TIPP decided to dedicate some of its time and resources to the development of the CHBH Gynecology ward, and the external infrastructure, by cleaning, painting and planting trees. This small but effective initiative, brought a great deal of appreciation from all those who are employed by CHBH, as this seen as a token of appreciation for their hard labour, it indeed was. And the whole TIPP team was proud to have been the pioneers of this initiative, which would bring about the annual progression of events such as this.
